The cowboy motif is ever present in modern day culture. They're talked about in music, in movies, online, and in our everyday conversation. But when we talk about the cowboy we're talking about the cowboy of the 16th century.

We glorify the vaqueros, even down to the footwear - the abrasive and rugged demeanor, unabashed bravado and true confidence. Progression of society has caused values and beliefs of man in that time period to be astronomically different, however the stylistic choices of our nomadic predecessors have been up-kept in our societies love for the past and rustics.

This piece depicts my belief in what the modern day cowboy's depiction would encapsulate. Our current touch of simplicity with the nod to yesterday's rush and darkness.

HEY!

Been a minute since I hopped on the blog but here's a new one for yall >:) Super happy with how this one turned out since I've been so critical of myself over the past couple of years. The state of everything right now in modern music feels so predictable, like everyone is afraid to do the things that we once were interested in because it won't print the money you expect from doing so.

I MEAN I'VE BEEN THERE LOLLLLxD

These collection of songs I'm putting out this summer really feel like the epitome of my being. No longer am I afraid of the judgement of those who don't get me creatively. No longer am I trying to impress complete strangers that won't probably interact with anything that I put out into ether ever again.

I'm fully doing this for me and the process of expressing myself creatively to the absolute fullest.

Hope you CQD users feel the same lmfao - feels like you guys are the only people that understand where I'm coming from at this point. But yeah, show some love.
